We only stayed one night, but aside from the somewhat adventurous access road, it was lovely to sit in the Burghof at the start of the evening, enjoy an Aperol Spritz before dinner, and the overall experience was wonderful.

The property was beautiful with spacious rooms, but on the one night we stayed they didn’t serve dinner; the host managed to get us a place nearby that was great, though we were really looking forward to eating at the castle.

Friendly people, an astounding setting and outlook, a huge and comfortable room, dinner that was exceptional, a thoughtful candle on a pastry for my husband’s birthday, delicious breakfast, very dog‑friendly, and I’d love to return for a longer stay.
