I loved the access to the BBQ and the cozy feel. It might help to have some fire starters to get the BBQ and campfire going faster.

I loved the privacy and how perfect it was to relax, but walking through the sheep’s and seeing the animals on site was nice, though the entrance could have been tidier.

The place was excellently located and had everything we needed for a fire and BBQ, and we enjoyed stargazing by the firepit, but the facilities were outdated and neglected. The main issue was the wasps: the bench in the shepherd’s hut was broken, a wooden deck chair was broken, and the door to the hut had dropped so we couldn’t lock it. Numerous wasps scratched at the door all day, forcing us to keep the door and windows closed in the heat, which was scary. The light in the toilet failed, and when we told the owner, he said he would fix it after we left instead of during our stay, and he offered no apology.

It was a perfect escape for our anniversary night, and everything was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by ideal surroundings.
