The host welcomed us warmly from start to finish, serving excellent breakfast every morning. The accommodation is well‑located near many restaurants, the beach, and the port. We highly recommend it.

The accommodation is a 5‑minute walk from the port. The host is friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the rest of the place. We arrived expecting a stay that matched the photos, but it was nothing like that. The place is swarming with mosquitoes, the bedding is stained and dirty, both the pillow and sheets are unwashed and still have perfume on them. The bathroom gets drenched if you shower; it’s all soaked. The water is salty. There are only two towels, and they’re dirty too. It’s close to the mosque, and you hear the prayers at 04:45 as if you’re right there. The next day we switched accommodations because there are plenty of similar‑priced options. We told the host, who seemed unsurprised and unbothered, and said we should contact booking for a refund of the remaining nights. We reached out twice to customer service and got no response from booking, but that’s just the app’s issue. Bottom line: if you value comfort on a trip, this isn’t the place for you.

I loved the spot—super close to everything and the staff were super friendly. The AC kept the room cool, it was spotless, and all the basics were there. Breakfast was top notch. The only hiccup was a power cut during our stay, but that’s normal on the islands; we just made sure to have flashlights and power banks ready.
