“Lovely place in the heart of Victoria.”

The suite looked gorgeous and set the mood right, and the roof terrace overlooking the citadel was simply dreamy; being in the heart of Victoria was spot on, and the quiet pedestrian streets of the old town were lovely, so we’d have liked to spend more time on Gozo instead of the main island. The only hiccups were a small drama getting into the room because the door code hadn’t been reset, and we couldn’t get the jacuzzi to work (probably our fault for not following the instructions), but those tiny issues didn’t stop us from recommending this place wholeheartedly.

“An absolute dream of a place to stay on Gozo.”

The Citadella Suite was incredible, the bed was super comfy and the private jacuzzi was a dream after 3 to 4 hours of hiking each day; the whole property was stunning, spotless, and very quiet, just a short walk to restaurants and the bus station. The communal kitchen was fantastic with a water machine and espresso machine, and it was great chatting over breakfast with other guests. Highly recommend!

“Lovely hidden gem in gozo”

I stayed in a quiet little spot just a few minutes from the main square and the bus station, and the owners kept in touch and updated us throughout. The communal kitchen was spacious and the water machine was super convenient. We enjoyed watching stars and planes from our veranda at night. The stairs to the top floor were narrow, but we didn’t have any trouble with our luggage.

The place is well‑located, has a rooftop terrace and a shared kitchen. However, there was no mosquito net on the window, so we couldn’t open it because of the many mosquitoes. The air‑con unit was above the bed, so we left it off for the night and the room felt very hot. If a mosquito net were installed, many guests could keep windows open and save energy. Despite that, it was a very good holiday, so just a friendly suggestion.

“Brilliant stay. Everything is perfectly thought out by the hosts.”

The location is brilliant, check‑in was smooth, the hosts were very communicative, and everything was spotless.
