Getting to the Plaza Mayor from the small village of Fresno de la Véga (25 km from León) was easy, and the host offered a range of small welcome gestures, including all the breakfast supplies and extra drinks in the fridge. They also sent a pre‑arrival email with passport photos and the opening code, which made the whole process feel completely autonomous from start to finish, just like home. The cottage itself is pleasant, well‑equipped, and has a large private terrace. The village has no restaurant, but a great inexpensive “Routier” is only 15 km away with a good menu.

The house was very complete, everything was present. We were welcomed with some treats, enjoyed a nice private outdoor space, and there was parking right outside the door.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming home, and I must say it was a truly unforgettable experience. The attention to detail was impressive, from the delicious breakfast treats to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The house was spotlessly clean, and the temperature was perfectly regulated, making it feel cozy and welcoming. Our host, Lucia, was incredibly kind and accommodating, offering us a late check-out on our departure day.
