We spent a single night at Ukuthela Bush Lodge and absolutely loved it! The lodge has a wonderful vibe, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Taking walks around the property was a real highlight, and the lodge was the perfect base for our self‑drive safari. We would gladly return and highly recommend it.

Our stay at this lodge was truly exceptional. The property is beautifully designed and lovingly maintained, tucked inside a private park where you can even spot giraffes. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. Everything was immaculate, and the whole team was outstanding. The food was a particular highlight, absolutely phenomenal. Throughout our two‑week trip across South Africa, where we enjoyed several fine‑dining experiences, we rarely ate or drank as exceptionally well as we did at this lodge. I especially want to praise the chef, who did an absolutely outstanding job. Every meal was a real pleasure, clearly crafted with great passion, creativity, and attention to detail. It’s a truly special place with wonderful people, exceptional cuisine, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly.

“Wonderful stay – highly recommended”

We stayed in the Bungalow at Ukuthula Bush Lodge and absolutely loved it. The bungalow was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a lovely private garden and porch. Everything we could possibly need was provided. Fabian, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with; he is very hands‑on and personally ensures guests are happy and well looked after, while his lovely staff handle daily service. That personal touch really added something special. We had both dinner and breakfast at the lodge and the food was delicious, generous, and beautifully prepared. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we wholeheartedly recommend Ukuthula Bush Lodge. We would very happily stay here again.
