Vov Hotel

The hotel is close to local restaurants, BIFF, Jagalchi market, and transport. The room was spacious, had a large window that could be fully opened, and a small table with two chairs. The bed was big, comfortable, and clean. The room had a stale smell and cigarette odor, even though it was a non‑smoking room. The bathroom and toilet are separate and in a semi‑transparent area within the main room. The shower and bath with a shower head are in different parts of the bathroom, so you have to wash your body and hair separately, which is odd. The shampoo and shower gel were awful, as if they had expired a long time ago. All of this might be charming with a new lover, but with family, a friend, or even alone it is definitely uncomfortable.

There is a large bathtub for soaking, and the lobby has a 24‑hour self‑service coffee machine. The location is good. The facilities feel somewhat outdated, and the lighting is not bright enough.

“Big baths, tiny towels.”

The rooms were large, with a huge bath, all at a very good price. The towels were tiny, only 60 cm × 30 cm (about 2 sqft); I asked for a larger one and was flat‑out denied. I can't recall any other place where the drying items were so small.

The location was very good and the rooms were very large.

There were two convenience stores, a café and plenty of eateries just around the corner, making the location superb. The downside was that the toilet and bath were see‑through; it wasn’t a problem for our family trip but could be awkward for friends traveling together.
