I was disappointed by the room’s awful sewer smell, as if it were a public restroom, and the staff claimed no free rooms when I arrived, forcing me to sleep all night with the balcony door open. The next morning I had a severe headache, nausea, and even vomited from the odor. I went to the reception to complain, noting that I had booked a higher rate and earlier, and the manager offered a different room with less odor and a vent to the street from the bathroom. I had to accept because they again said there were no more rooms, even though the hotel was almost empty. The new room was smaller, very old, and in a poor state: the shower curtain looked older than me, the floor paint was flaking and unpleasant, space was cramped, water sprayed everywhere, the shower worked poorly, and hot water took forever – it was terrible! The room was never cleaned during my 6‑day stay; they only collected trash twice and refilled toilet paper, towels, and sheets, never changing them. I am very disappointed.
