I found the place pretty nice, but the mattress was obviously old or worn—lumpy with a sinkhole, making it rough for two people sharing one bed.

Everything was fine except the sausage looked old and unappetizing. The TV didn’t work at all and it took a while to get it functioning. The front desk should have had more than one person, because they had to be there, and I couldn’t relax until it was fixed. I had come into town for a funeral and was already stressed; I just wanted to slip into pajamas and watch a movie to take my mind off things. I would have appreciated some kind of perk for that.

The trash cans were overflowing for all four days I stayed, and housekeeping never cleaned them. Breakfast was poorly managed: a woman put a lot of food in her purse and left none for anyone else, making it the worst experience I’ve ever had. The staff seemed uninterested in their duties, treating it like a routine task and putting no effort into it.

Not much to say, but the staff moved us quickly. The faucet was loose, the TV offered only a few channels, and the light switch by the door wouldn’t stay on.

The consistency in cleanliness, service, bed comfort, and amenities was spot‑on. I signed up for Hampton because I know they’ll be friendly, helpful, and efficient. The place is so clean and comfortable that the brand itself promises a great sleeping experience. Nothing was wrong—perfect!
