“Very comfortable, Great Value for Money, Wonderful Host”

The host was extremely welcoming. The hotel and our room (Room 4) were clean and tidy, with a good‑sized room and bed that were very comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring Ross‑on‑Wye (town centre and river walks) and Symonds Yat, and it offered great value for money. The pub opposite served superb dining and breakfast (though it isn’t part of the White House), and it’s a top spot for eating out and breakfast. Nothing negative.

“An amazing find”

The location is beautiful, the décor is lovely, and the service is very friendly. The lamp in the room added a cozy touch; I would have liked a bedside reading lamp instead, but that doesn’t take away from my experience—it’s just a personal preference.

“Weekend in the Whitehouse”

The place is absolutely stunning, Joy’s taste is impeccable, it’s luxuriously decorated and feels like a time machine, the view is great and I’d gladly return.

The spot is nicely located near town and the river, clean and well decorated; however, the stairs could be a problem if you have mobility issues, and the bathroom feels very small and cramped.
