The room was spotless and the staff were super helpful. The spot right by the river and the shops and bus stop were just a walk away. I liked how clean everything was and the service was on point.

The lift was broken and the room felt like an oven. On top of that, there was no coffee at all. Not a great experience.

The staff didn't care at all. The bathroom light was out and the shower was busted, and when we complained nothing was done. Very disappointing.

I was lucky to end up in a proper hotel in Basel because the hostel system double‑booked my room. Mara drove me there, no extra charge, and she was amazing. I didn't even get a key for the hostel, but she saved the day.

A few hours before arrival we were left hanging with a paid reservation, told there was a mysterious flood and forced to cancel. Then we saw the same place listed under a different name at more than double the price. Not trustworthy at all.
