The location in the city was good, close to the promenade and the central train station. Inside the room, street noise was not noticeable because it faced the opposite side. We appreciated having a coffee machine with pre‑packed coffee pods available. On arrival we found two 0.5 l water bottles in the fridge plus soft drinks (which we didn’t drink). Towels were changed daily, and the room was tidied by the housekeeping staff. Communication with the owner was good; he was friendly. On the last day he let us stay an hour past the official check‑out time. The room furniture was of very poor quality, extremely shabby and old. The bed linen was old, and a pillowcase was torn. The initially white towels had a grey colour and smelled bad. The door to the hallway was very thin, so all noises were audible. A few guests were noisy.

Everything was great. The price‑quality ratio was solid, entry was easy, and Isabel’s attention whenever we needed it was wonderful. The cleaning was thorough. The space was warm and comfortable with a small balcony and a spacious bathroom. The location was convenient. The tiny fridge, coffee machine, and mugs were handy. Everything was excellent; I would come back and recommend it.

The location is the best possible in Bari, halfway between the two train stations and the entrance to the Old City. From the B&B you can reach either destination in less than 10 minutes on flat ground, which is perfect for exploring the centre in the morning and catching a train to nearby towns in the afternoon. LB&B Short Stays sits practically on the same road as the train station exits, so you can’t get lost while traveling! Our room was very spacious, with a toilet/shower. We asked for and received an electric kettle for tea. Finding complimentary drinks in the fridge was highly appreciated. The room was cleaned every morning by the staff. With prior notice and agreement with the owner, we were also able to leave our luggage securely for a couple of hours after check‑out. Happy days! The only suggestion is to improve the room doors; they make noise when closing, even if you try to shut them very, very slowly, which may not always be appreciated by guests in neighbouring rooms.
