“Super comfy and incredible staff!”
The staff were the most helpful I’ve encountered in Indonesia, which says a lot. They offered plenty of local recommendations, and extra services such as laundry, scooter rental, and taxis were cheap and well‑organized—laundry was free. Their friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to meet other guests. The local area is beautiful and much more relaxed than southern Bali, and it was one of my favorite spots of the whole trip. Nothing to complain about—this hostel truly made my time in Munduk enjoyable.
“Un paradis niché dans les montagnes”
We loved so many things about this place: the food was incredible, the staff were kind, the room was clean and spacious, and the setting was gorgeous. You can rent a scooter, and the guests are also lovely. Don’t miss the cooking class—it was fantastic! The nearby massage salon was also great. It’s truly a little piece of paradise that will forever stay in our hearts.
My favorite place to stay during that month-long trip. The facilities are gorgeous, with hammocks and chill spots everywhere, all spotlessly clean and well maintained. Every aspect of this hostel—from the food to the activity planning to the talks—is done with love and care. From the moment I stepped in, I felt at home and spent time with both guests and staff. It’s one of those hostels where strangers still sit together for dinner and chat. The location is a bit remote, but that’s part of the appeal, and arranging transport or scooter rental is very easy. I’d return to Munduk just to see Putu and Dedi again! Nothing to complain about.
From the moment you arrive, the hostel staff make you feel at home. Dedi and Putu are excellent hosts who helped us plan our routes and handle all aspects of our stay. The surroundings are beautiful, filled with greenery and common areas where you can chat with other guests or simply relax. There’s a laundry area with a dryer, a billiards table, hammocks, and you can even rent a motorcycle there to explore the area.
The beds are super comfy, the spot feels really cozy, and the staff are charming. Putu will gladly show you around the area and is very welcoming.
