The service was warm and the smiles genuine, and the large public bath and hot spring were comfortable even on the weekend. From the room I could see a quiet, nature‑rich view, and it was a stay that made me want to return. The Wi‑Fi was spotty, and the boiler’s hum might bother some guests.

I stayed in a traditional tatami room that had been upgraded to a modern style, with separate washbasin, bathtub, and toilet, all neat and warm. The view of the lake and mountains let me see the Milky Way at night, and the large bath allowed me to enjoy the hot spring whenever I wanted. What impressed me most was the airport pickup service and the option to reserve dinner, which let me shop for sushi and other foods at a big supermarket. The next day, the guide took me to the famous Sanuki udon shop for lunch, and I returned to the hotel after checkout to visit the hotel art museum. I also went to the guest house near the center (a hard‑to‑find spot) and was amazed at how much I was able to experience. After that, I booked again at Park Hotel but the Second Stage Hotel was right in front of me, a place that felt truly healing, and every staff member was incredibly kind.
