Hotel Praga

After a 10‑hour flight I was desperate for a comfy bed, and this place delivered. The room was huge, roomy, spotless, with a fairly large bathroom. The breakfast lounge was equally comfortable, offering a wide range of options. The location is very close to the metro and even better to the bus stop right in front, making it super easy to get around the city. The staff were very friendly. When we left, we had forgotten a wallet with documents and cards in the safe, and they kindly kept it for us until we could pick it up almost a month later. I would definitely stay here again.

“Hotel limpio y amplio pero ruidoso”

The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly. It sits in a neighborhood near Madrid Río, pleasant for walking around and close to a shopping mall, and it’s well connected by buses to the city center. On the downside, I gave a low score for the shower pressure and especially the soundproofing: I could hear a lot from the rooms next door, a noisy couple at night made it hard to sleep, and in the morning other guests sang “Happy Birthday” at 8 am and chatted with family for an hour, waking us up abruptly. This aspect really let the rating slip.

“Not very comfortable especially if tou wanyed to relax in the room”

Nothing really stood out on the positive side. The property was very, very dated; the rooms were definitely not up to a four‑star standard. There was no English TV, the wardrobe was broken, the bathtub was too small, and there was no iron for a four‑star hotel. We had to request that, and then we were told to walk down eight floors to collect it from reception. There were no USB outlets either. Overall, I was very disappointed for a hotel that should be classified as a three‑star.

The hotel staff were kind and attentive. The only drawback was that the location was a 15‑minute walk from the metro.
