“A great place to relax and enjoy whether you are staying on site or sightseeing the local area.”

We appreciated how the owners paid close attention to the guest experience, with mattress toppers on the beds for extra comfort, written instructions for everything, and plenty of brochures about sightseeing. Like everyone else, we liked being able to use the air conditioning, and the hot water in the shower was very relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped for those who, like us, like to cook. I also liked the fold‑out clothes drying rack for hand‑washed garments. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and promenade, with access to neighboring towns on both sides of the caravan park, and it was a solid base for our trips with two large grocery shops—Sainsbury’s and Tesco—within a few miles, both of which had petrol stations. The TV had a guest account for Prime Video, which we used, and we enjoyed the comfortable couches with recliners. We were grateful for the extra towels provided for our 9‑day stay. The hosts were easy to reach and friendly. The site was very peaceful. Be aware that the shower is smaller than expected. One group of people was excessively noisy on Saturday night after curfew, but the hosts had no control over that. It was an isolated incident on one night out of our 12‑day stay at this place.

My stay at this lovely place was truly exceptional, thanks to Steve and Cheryl, the amazing owners who made sure I felt comfortable and excited throughout my visit. They were really lovely and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I highly recommend it and would return anytime.

I loved the location of this cozy place, which made exploring the coast and historical city of Canterbury a breeze. The warm and cozy atmosphere, along with air conditioning, made it feel like a home away from home.
