It was far from clean—very disappointing.

The stay was comfortable overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the meals were good until the last night on Friday. On that evening we had a table booked for 19.15 pm, yet we waited nearly ten minutes for the waitress to seat us. She handed us a menu and promised to return in a minute, but she ignored us and attended other guests. After 15 minutes I called another waiter who promised to come in a minute, but he was rude and indifferent. We finally got our dinner, but my mashed potatoes were cold and nobody was available to address the issue. We left the room feeling deflated, and the incident spoiled the end of our stay; we’re unsure about returning unless the staff’s attitude and manners are improved.

The location is great and the beds are comfortable, but there was no bar area to unwind in.
