The location was great. The beds were comfortable. The appliances were better than average, with a coffee maker, a large fridge, a TV, etc. The ocean view and an easy walk to a non‑swimming beach were nice. The registration process was complex, especially when using the booking app, and the air conditioner was a bit noisy.

It’s in the center, close to everything, flexible, and the staff were available. The value for money was good. The sound insulation between rooms was weak.

The place was extremely clean (I was truly impressed – the exterior looked unassuming) and affordable, the best lodging option in all of Kauai. The area feels a bit barren; there are food options but it feels like “at the end of the road”. Some homeless people are around. It’s all manageable. You’ll be in the park most of the time.

The place was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, but the roosters crowing at dawn was the only flaw—though that’s part of Kauai’s charm.
