The location was wonderfully quiet, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the staff were super nice.
“Ich komme wieder...”
The hotel is ideally situated right in the woods and meadows; a little rustle of the forest and you can hear the distant road. We booked a Superior room, newly renovated, with a clean bathroom and received a dog bed for our travelling dog. The concept is excellent, though the hotel is still a work in progress. Breakfast was decent, but we had to wait for rolls and there were too few croissants, though the hotel was only moderately visited. During peak season something needs to change, which explains the not‑so‑great reviews. The newly built swimming pond is great, but I wondered where to enter it. Overall it’s a well‑thought‑out concept that still has room for improvement—I hope everything works out, because the energy on the property is really good. I’ll definitely come back for a break!

It was a very pleasant stay, but the room lock didn’t work well and the food was subpar.
The breakfast was good, the surroundings were peaceful, and the animals were charming. Unfortunately, we paid too much in tourist tax because accompanying guests were supposed to receive a reduction according to the Bad Kohlgrub tourist tax regulation.

The location, the calmness, and the whole area are perfect for unwinding and finding peace. The information from the staff member who greeted us was incomplete, so we parked our bikes in an open shed even though there was a storage room available.
