The location and breakfast were great, and the staff and service were top. The pool was clean and heated. After a hard hiking/biking day, a stay in the wellness area was a treat. There was always free water and apples. The room and facilities fell far short of our expectations. There was no separate shower; it was in the bathtub and we had to climb over the edge. The shower water was initially a rusty red, unacceptable for a 4‑star hotel. The bathroom ceiling was very low; at some spots we couldn’t stand upright.
