Don’t be fooled by the outside look… The rooms are gorgeous, the welcome was fantastic, and even though the restaurant closed, we were allowed to bring our own food into the bar; breakfast was really tasty.

The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The place feels a bit dated; our room was tiny, leaving almost no space for the dog or its basket, and it was only suitable for sleeping—staying in the room during the day would have meant just lying on the bed. Our room was on the upper floor and very noisy. The hallway carpet was quite dirty. I wouldn’t book again. We were told beforehand that there was no dinner on site, and the restaurant recommendations were sparse.
