The location was ideal for exploring Melbourne, but the décor was very dated, the carpets had an odor, and the staff from reception to the restaurant showed no enthusiasm for their work.

We loved the service from a lovely hostess named Dom, who checked in on us several times during our stay to make everything wonderful. The only downside was the pillows: the feather pillow lost its loft and flattened, and the foam pillow was too firm—small issues, if you ask me.

The hotel is close to the Melbourne Convention Centre, has a good location, is accessible, comfortable, and offers good amenities. However, because the bathroom floor is sloped, water didn’t drain properly and instead pooled under the sink/wall, creating a slip hazard and a potential concussion.
