Cleanliness, the pool, and the dining area were good, but I had to pay extra for the so‑called balcony.

The hotel is well‑located, clean, offers free parking and a nice terrace. The outdoor pool lacks a bar, but a vending machine with drinks and sweets sits between the ladies’ and gentlemen’s toilets; it only accepts 1, 5 and 10‑lei notes, no POS, so 20, 50 and 100‑lei notes are useless. Inside the pool the ambient temperature exceeds 35 °C and the strong chlorine smell made us fear intoxication, so we avoided it. On the terrace you’re only served by hotel staff if you press a bell or go to reception to order; otherwise you’re left to your own devices. Everywhere there are warning signs, instructions, and admonitions, such as “Do not step on the grass or we will evict you,” “At the shower exit please use the foot towel to avoid wetting and damaging the parquet,” “For comfort please do not set the thermostat below 2,” “If you want to enjoy coffee on the outdoor terrace, please call the staff for assistance,” etc.

The Germisara Hotel is very clean, which is worth praising. Unfortunately the food left us disappointed: the dishes were a bit limited and did not meet our expectations for a four‑star establishment. Another major drawback is the pools, which were not warm enough. Since the hotel caters largely to older guests, we expected a more comfortable water temperature, especially for those coming for relaxation and treatment.
