Choosing umbila:Barra guarantees an unforgettable stay in Tofo by the Barra Beach. The property is neat and clean, with a shared pool and plenty of space to relax. It’s very quiet because there are only a few rooms. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms provide everything needed for a vacation. That alone makes umbila:Barra a great choice! The beach is nearby, even though the location is a bit off the village and only reachable by 4x4. What truly sets this place apart are the staff and the food. We had a balanced, great breakfast every day and received a (vegetarian on request) dinner each evening, which was delicious. The staff are very courteous and supportive, always smiling. You just feel comfortable in this environment and can truly enjoy the holiday. Thanks to the whole team and Kate, who made the administration very easy for us.

Wunderschöne Auszeit in einer traumhaften Lodge! Unser Aufenthalt in der Umbila Barra war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lodge liegt inmitten einer atemberaubenden Naturkulisse, die uns sofort in ihren Bann gezogen hat. Der Service war hervorragend – das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Unterkunft selbst war perfekt: sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer. Jeden Morgen den Sonnenaufgang dort zu genießen, war ein echtes Highlight! Auch das Essen war ausgezeichnet – frisch, lokal und absolut lecker. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten, und man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Nachhaltigkeit gelegt wird. The staff’s friendliness was remarkable, always ready to provide comfort to guests. The meal quality was excellent and varied. Nothing significant to mention. I only suggest improving the sound insulation between adjacent rooms.
