A lovely pub in the heart of Richmond, within walking distance of all tourist sights. The room and facilities were basic, fine for a short stay.

We booked the 2‑bedroom apartment in the converted stables, which felt very modern and warm with super comfy beds and a sleek bathroom that offered plenty of space. The only hiccup was that the Wi‑Fi password wasn’t listed for the TV, but that was fixed quickly.

We stayed in the “Convict” room, which was spotless and comfortable for a single night, located in a former stable next to the hotel. It’s on Main Street, so walking to all the shops, the bridge, and the old church was effortless. We loved it.
