The spot is fantastic—location matters a lot to me. The old girl, however, looks visibly rundown since my last stay a year ago, and nothing has been done to fix it.

The front desk staff were phenomenal people who genuinely cared about my stay; they were kind and generous. Nothing else to note.

It was old and authentic, but also pretty basic—no TV, though remodeling starts tomorrow. I hope they don’t ruin any of the antiques or the authenticity of this old hotel.

The location is great, but the space is small.

I was too tired to keep traveling when I arrived in Mendocino, so I’m glad they had a room for me! The lady at check‑in was great. I always like a well‑lit room; most hotel rooms I end up in have less light than I prefer, but the view from the room I stayed in was very nice.
