The building is very pretty and well situated, yet the pool water was cold, the shower in the room kept fluctuating between very hot and very cold, and there was a strong damp smell in the room.

Everything was exceptional as always: the staff’s friendliness, the breakfast, and the modern room equipment deserve more than two stars; the value for money during peak August demand is fantastic, and having a pool and sauna in a 2‑star hotel is something I’ve never seen in Portugal.

The service was excellent; I have nothing to complain about.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the location in town was very convenient, but it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea and coffee and a mini fridge.
