Everything! For the price paid this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I was even pleasantly surprised with gym equipment in my room. Bed was super comfortable! Laundry facilities top notch! Very friendly staff! And hands down the best breakfast i have ever had, with so much variety! The free porridge at night is also quite nice. All was superb! But the self flushing toilets sometimes are a bit surprising

Had a wonderful stay at Atour S Hotel, Shanghai. Everything was excellent from the location and cleanliness to the comfort and overall ambience. What really made the stay special was the warm and delightful hospitality. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring Shanghai, coming back to the hotel was always a pleasure. A truly memorable stay and excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai. Highly recommended

Amazing staff and the hotel itself. Never encountered a more coordinated operation. Very tasty breakfasts that introduce you to the national cuisine. I tried many Chinese dishes only there. I noticed that the breakfasts were also liked by Chinese guests.

I stayed six nights and found every staff member at the front desk and elsewhere to be very courteous, the premises were spotless and tidy, and the environment was quiet enough for someone who dislikes noise.

The hotel offers a night snack, free self‑service laundry, a basic gym and a lobby coffee machine, but the room’s drainage is terrible—especially at the sink where it takes over two minutes to clear after brushing teeth— the shower head is hard to use and the water temperature is finicky, there’s no real bidet (the “bidet” is fake), the round lamp on the bedside table constantly hits your head, the TV takes ages to load, and the bath‑towel plastic bags are far from eco‑friendly.
