The room could comfortably fit 2‑3 people, was clean and cozy, and the hotel is within walking distance of several eateries. The coffee/breakfast spot next door is highly recommended, and the cleaning crew is very helpful if you have trouble checking in. However, the bathroom lacks enough hooks and towel racks, and a smoke alarm went off at 1 am on our second night; I had to buy a new 9‑volt battery at a nearby gas station to stop the chirping after pressing the button, left the receipt in the room, and the staff refunded the cost to my credit card.

I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's incredible location, which offered breathtaking views. However, I was initially misinformed about the kitchen facilities, which led to some inconvenience. The room itself was comfortable, with a good bed and a mini-fridge and microwave, but the overpowering smell of bleach and cleaners made it difficult for me to sleep. The outdoor space was perfect, and the charming town of Lake City was just outside the door.

My stay at this hotel was a delightful experience, with a truly unforgettable moment being the breathtaking sunrise I witnessed every morning from the comfort of my room's deck. However, there were a few minor issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction - the TV remote control was faulty, forcing me to download a separate app to control the television, which was a bit inconvenient.
