“MDG: An Oasis in Guyana”

We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at MDG—staff, service, facilities, the calm vibe, the sea view that was both soothing and breathtaking, the ambience, the food, and everything else far surpassed our expectations, even though we didn't get to try the gym; my husband and I felt safe and appreciated the authentic Indian cuisine, especially the delicious dishes and the best chai ever made by Chef Mahabir, who was kind, helpful, respectful, and made us feel at home; MDG offers a rare quiet, peaceful, relaxing environment in Guyana, making it a perfect retreat, especially family‑friendly (though not ideal for party goers); just book MDG and you won’t regret it—we’ll definitely return; the only suggestion is to add a larger mirror and an extra curtain to block solar light on the patio at night.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel; the staff were exceptionally friendly, the value for money was sensational, and in the evenings we had a fantastic vegetarian dinner featuring ingredients from the on‑site garden; this accommodation is highly recommended without reservation.

“A Literal Lifesaver – Safe, Clean, and Exceptionally Kind”

I can’t thank the MDG Suites team enough; after a horrible experience at a Georgetown hotel, I was checking out at night with nowhere to go, and as a solo woman from Suriname I was very anxious; the Hotel Manager, Mr. Collin, immediately calmed me, arranged a car to bring me to the property, and MDG Suites proved to be a beautiful, clean, peaceful oasis about 30 minutes outside the city with unmatched hospitality, a delicious Indian vegetarian meal, and staff who went above and beyond—when I realized I needed an iron for a business meeting the next morning, they had one delivered to my room instantly; thank you, Collin and the entire staff, for your kindness; this place is truly blessed and I will recommend it to everyone I know.
