Cleanliness was excellent. Staff was excellent. Needed a few more restaurants and the food choices could have been better. Coffee shop needs to be bigger

Everything was spotless and walking between the pools and restaurants was a breeze. The service was incredible, and we were very pleased with all the staff, including the servers, and the entertainment team was awesome. There was no shortage of activities happening at any time. The only hiccup was having to switch rooms because our first room lost power, but that was handled professionally and taken care of.

The property is beautiful and very clean; all the staff are warm and go the extra mile for good customer service. The food was good at most of the places I ate, especially the French restaurant. Room service was a little slow; I don’t think it should take more than an hour to receive a small breakfast order.

No particular highlights. The experience was so disappointing that I left the hotel even though my stay was paid for and booked another place to salvage my vacation. I wish I’d found a review like this before booking. The photos and description set up expectations that simply don’t match reality. It’s marketed as a luxury hotel, yet it feels like an old property with a superficial makeover. The facilities feel dated, the rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures, and overall the experience is far from justifying the price. The food and drink selection was a major letdown; the variety and quality are not what you expect at this rate, and honestly I’ve had better in hotels that cost less than half. What feels most misleading is the use of the name “Secrets,” which implies a premium experience. I’ve stayed at several hotels under that brand, and this one does not reflect the standard quality, service, or facilities that usually define Secrets. My disappointment was so great that, even with the entire stay paid, I decided to leave and book another hotel. I preferred to lose that money than ruin my vacation in a place that didn’t live up to its promises. I don’t normally write negative reviews, but I felt it was my duty to do so. I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision and avoid wasting time, money, and vacation days waiting for something this hotel simply doesn’t offer.

The room cleaning was excellent, the room was pretty and spacious, and the food was a pleasant surprise. I would add more activity options.
