“Quiet and relaxing stay on a hill overlooking Peschici”

Masseria La Chiusa delle More offers a lovely view over the valley below Peschici and the town itself; with few rooms, our stay was very quiet; the kids adored the pool and missed the cat; breakfast was excellent despite limited choices; Francesco was a kind host. The hotel isn’t within walking distance of town, so a car is needed and it’s a bit of a trek back; parking in the town’s paid lot is hassle‑free, while street parking requires coins and is easy even in August. The family room feels a bit small (we didn’t see other rooms) and the steep ladder‑like stairs might make parents uneasy about letting very small children sleep upstairs.

A wonderful place for those seeking relaxation just steps from the stunning Peschici; owner Francesco is a magnificent host, truly the master of the house, who pampered us in this sublime masseria surrounded by olive trees and terraces overlooking Peschici. The staff are always courteous and ready to help; breakfast is hearty with a variety of sweet, savory, and fruit options; the dinner is truly exquisite, set in a very intimate and romantic atmosphere with soft music—congratulations for making us feel at home; we will definitely return.

“La DOLCE VITA!”

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Masseria La Chiusa delle More, the perfect spot to experience Italian dolce vita; from the start, owner Francesco made us feel incredibly welcome and gave clear, precise recommendations that made exploring the area easier and more enjoyable. The masseria itself is beautifully renovated, with a refined yet authentic Italian style; the atmosphere is peaceful, like a countryside oasis. Rooms are simple but well maintained and thoughtfully cared for, and the entire staff’s availability and kindness are exceptional. Breakfast is homemade with wonderful local products and, honestly, the best we’ve had in years—if not the best ever. A true 10/10, no hesitation. The only caveat is the location: the masseria is in the countryside, and the surrounding roads can be quite dark in the evening, especially if you plan to go out for dinner—this isn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth considering when booking.
