All the beds are real beds, no sofa‑beds or folding beds, and they’re comfortable. The room is actually a mini‑apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, which is very convenient. The place is very quiet and the staff are very kind. The bathroom would be more comfortable with a support point for putting things down (bench, chair, wall shelf). It’s a bit odd to have to go out onto the street to reach the breakfast room (the door next to it), but the buffet was plentiful. An English map or one with photos would be welcome for tourists who don’t speak German.

I had a perfect stay, but you should know that you have to check in at a restaurant first. Checking out at 11.15 am was a bit annoying because the restaurant was already closed and the key‑return desk was shut; that should be organized better.

Nothing particularly great about the place. The beds were too soft, the bathroom was tiny and I almost had to step into the shower to close the door. Breakfast was disappointing; we arrived about an hour before it ended and there was almost nothing left of the cold cuts, and they never refilled it. The first morning we had to search for clean plates among tables piled with dirty dishes. In the evening we went to the restaurant because of its good reviews, but the staff were quite unfriendly. We considered ordering dessert after the main course, but the response was a flat “no” and if we tried to place another order they started shouting at us. We did order anyway, but the food was awful – the schnitzel was still swimming in fat on the plate and we only managed to eat half because it was simply inedible, even the meat quality was poor. Absolutely not worth the money.
