Burrstone Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The restaurant was fabulous, all the workers were fabulous and everyone made us feel welcome; we'd love to come and stay again. Nothing could have been better—it was absolutely wonderful.

“Very Clean, Staff was GREAT..”

I always choose this place whenever I'm in Utica, and it never disappoints. The only downside is that there's not much else to say.

“Average”

The hotel is clean and even has a small restaurant and bar inside. However, rooms get cleaned or refreshed only every three days, so you have to ask the front desk for fresh towels and no one takes out your trash or used towels until day three, which I don't understand.

“Nice place”

I was impressed by the breakfast and the bar, both were very nice and inviting, but I was upset when I saw two charges on my bill: one for $441.59 and another for $532.34; I had to call the front desk, where the staff explained that the $532.34 was for incidents and would be removed from my credit card—this was ridiculous.

“Clean and comfortable”

The lobby and the room were clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was better than what most hotels offer; the staff greeted us with smiles and were very friendly, but we never received the second blanket we asked for our daughter who was using the couch bed.
