The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the instructions were clear. We were able to leave our luggage at the place before checking in to explore the area. Even though the décor was a bit old‑fashioned, the rooms were well maintained and clean, with no odors. The family onsen was good, clean, and hot—I'd go back if I ever return to Yufuin. Nothing else.

The staff were extremely kind and the private open‑air bath was amazing. The town’s shops close early, so we bought ready‑made meals from the supermarket and ate them in our room. No particular negatives.

I thought breakfast was included, but when I asked in the morning they said there was none. When I took a bath, the light bulb went out, my hair was still shampooed, and I panicked. At night, some mosquito or insect buzzed around my head, so I couldn’t sleep; the drive was exhausting and I couldn’t recover at all.
