The place is tucked away in a gorgeous spot, with gardens and working farms all around, and the host is genuinely welcoming. The arty vibe inside the house adds a nice touch, and I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

Staying with Gabi felt like being part of her family – she’s such a bright, friendly presence that the whole visit was a blast. When we head back to Gippsland we’ll definitely book another night, pull up a chair and share a coffee with her again.

We chose this spot for the Bruthen Blues Festival and the location was spot‑on; the room had its own bathroom and was comfortable. Gabbie went above and beyond with a cooked breakfast and solid tips on where to eat and what to see, plus the countryside vibe with cows and chickens was a nice change from city apartments. After this first BnB experience I’m seriously thinking about swapping my high‑rise rentals for more relaxed stays like this.
