The place is a slab, a miserable hotel. Still looks communist, no improvement since 2000. That's how politicians treat state assets. Everything is awful, especially the reception and kitchen staff.

Although the hotel feels a bit retro, it’s very clean and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately the toilet bowl didn’t hold water and the shower looked somewhat old.

At first glance the hotel seems outdated, but it’s still a real blessing to exist. I felt comfortable there. The reception ladies were very friendly. Cleanliness was everywhere, and the location is probably the best in Focșani.
