The historical setting of the house was preserved, the original characteristics were kept, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was always on time. The kitchen was well used but a bit limited; the apartment lock is quite temperamental and sometimes hard to open.

The friendliness of D. Margarida, the little room with a fireplace, and the fresh air of the village were appreciated. The house needs a small renovation. There is a lot of energy loss through the doors and windows; a caulking job would be very important.

It was a real luxury to stay in a manor house from the 16th‑18th centuries. The host is a charming person.

The place sits right in the middle of the natural park, making it perfect for exploring. The little house next to the "Casa grande" is charming and steeped in history—it used to be a school and later a folk‑dance rehearsal spot, but now it feels welcoming. The room is gorgeous and there's a small table in the garden where you can enjoy the cicadas and evening lights. On top of that, Margarida greets you with energy and a smile. I definitely recommend it.
