We had an unforgettable stay; Sakkie was amazing and the farmhouse carries so much history. The coal stove was a highlight that we fell in love with, and the jacuzzi heater was incredible, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. It was honestly the best stay ever. Thank you.

I already sent a message explaining why we couldn’t stay there at all! Nobody met us, and we had to call to get the key. The hot tub was covered in scum. Please refund us; we paid for other accommodation. Everything!

The location was very peaceful and picturesque. Sakkie was friendly and welcoming, and the house was very quaint. Some parts of the house could use a bit of TLC.

An amazing little winter getaway on a farm. The house was built in the 1800s, so it’s very historic. I just loved being out in nature, seeing the sheep and wide open spaces. The host Sakkie is very friendly.

A beautiful old farmhouse in Barrydale with history. Oom Sakkie, the owner, is a wonderful host. He warmly welcomed us, gave us a tour of the house and the rest of the property, and shared his famous “skilpaadjies” that were delicious. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a break to stay at Goedgeloof Farm Stay. Beautiful house, scenery, and a warm welcome from the host.
