The room was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. The bar was already closed when we returned after a party, so we couldn’t have a drink. Not having a private parking spot is also a drawback.

A hotel on the outskirts of the city, about 1 km from the centre, with no parking nearby; you have to drive 500 m to a paid parking lot.

My stay ran from Sunday to Tuesday and was very quiet, except for the lovely late‑summer weather: 22 °C at the start of October. The hotel sits in a peaceful spot just outside Valkenburg’s centre. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. A tip: 50 m from the hotel you’ll find boscafé Tivoli, great for an evening bite! The bathroom trash bin wasn’t emptied and still held the previous guests’ rubbish. Also, I had breakfast on one of the two mornings, but it was rather sparse. Paying 23 € for it was not worth it.

Nice room, but I needed a place to charge my car. The only chargers are at the lower parking lot, and there are only six. I arrived at 21:00 and all were occupied, so I had to wait 45 minutes at a fast charger because I had to leave again the next day.
