The food was excellent, and for the cooler weather they offered bed bottles and warm socks, which was nice. The staff were very friendly.

The spot is gorgeous and the staff made us feel welcome the moment we got to the front desk. Meals were solid – dinner hit the spot, breakfast kept me going, and the beer was surprisingly good. If I end up back in this area, I’ll head straight here.

After a marathon bus ride and a wild ride on the tourist train past roaring waterfalls, we arrived in a completely different world. The breakfast buffet blew my expectations out of the water – truly excellent. On the downside, the detergent they used on the linens was way too perfumed; a cheap‑sweet scent lingered in the hallway and even soaked into my nightclothes. Definitely over‑done.
