I had a great experience.
“The space was perfect, the treatment was unpleasant”
The beds were very comfortable, and the space fit us perfectly. We liked that it was close to the beach, so we walked all the way there! Argentina was very understanding when we arrived, letting us check in early, which was nice. However, at check‑out she was somewhat rude; I just asked if we could leave our luggage for a few hours, and she got upset on the phone. I wasn’t expecting a yes, but her response was unkind and made the experience unpleasant.
“Desayuno del alojamiento no corresponde con el precio”
The location and bed were good, and the slippers were a nice touch. It’s really a private house in a block of flats where the owner has turned each room into a rental. The thin walls let in a lot of noise. In the shower, the water pressure would sometimes drop and then switch to cold quickly. Breakfast: the room has a kettle with muffins, and the shared kitchen has a fridge where each room has a shelf with milk, croissants, and butter that the owner restocks daily. That doesn’t feel like an included breakfast. Even with a “do not disturb” sign, the owner entered our room to change the coffee cups while we were out. There’s no option to leave luggage after check‑out.
I stayed in a central spot, just 10‑20 minutes from the train, beach, and Old Town. Argentina welcomed us and helped with everything; we received fresh linens every two days. The air felt a bit stale, so we got a thicker blanket. I liked the attentiveness. The kitchen always had a fruit basket, and the room had a coffee machine with capsules on the tray. There was always jam and pre‑packed two‑piece roast. The bed was super comfy. The location was great, but the main road was noisy. Breakfast offered a vanilla croissant and, over our five‑night stay, only one pack of salami, mortadella, and cheese. The fridge had butter, milk, and water, so the breakfast wasn’t to my taste. I detailed this because if you want eggs or muesli, it’s not available.
The spot was nice and had a good shower. It was very noisy; I couldn’t sleep because of the car traffic at night, it sounded like there was no window. I asked if I could leave my luggage, but they only had certain hours. I also added that the person who rents the place messaged me in a very rude way about my review; it felt offensive and inappropriate. All of this was very distasteful, and I don’t think it’s how to speak to guests.
