“Pieprzowe Wzgórza okiem Agi”
The directional signs were very helpful, and the surroundings offered stunning views of the hillside covered with birch and the Vistula valley, framed by the cut‑out ridge of the hill, right next to the red trail leading to the Pepper Hills – charming two cottages were available for rent. The rose bushes and budleia, along with a terrace, let six of us enjoy meals under the sun, which we cooked ourselves in a well‑equipped kitchen. The lawn was tidy and there was a spot for a fire pit, close to a spacious sauna. I appreciated the attention to detail – bright interior colors, welcome lavender sprigs on each towel, and the warmth from a fire we started. Cleanliness, freshness, and friendly, smiling hosts in the nearby house who recommended a boat trip on the Vistula or a lantern walk in Sandomierz. The parking was ample. We walked to Sandomierz via the charming red trail and returned with Bolt for 20 zł. Silence, fresh air, and the pleasure of stretching on the balcony after a night in a comfortable bed. The barrier between the cottages could be improved by adding plants and panels to ensure privacy between guests from the two cottages; the current setup somewhat fulfills this but a minor tweak would increase comfort. The approach is quite steep down and then up a curve, which gave me a bit of a scare after a long, tiring drive, but in subsequent days I grew more confident.
