The view was lovely and the wardens were very nice and helpful. The site itself was great, and I enjoyed watching the donkeys. The beds were spotless. The carpet could use a replacement, and the sofa cushions and brown chair need a thorough wash.

The caravan was a good size and offered great views. It was clean and well equipped, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, it was a bit too far from everything, such as the nearest shop, and we used it as a base for the Scafell Pike trek, which is about a 20‑25 minute drive.

The accommodation was excellent, spacious and clean. Nothing was lacking; everything was prepared wonderfully.
