The host is a friendly, fun person. Breakfast is presented nicely, and each day comes with a weather and activity guide plus hiking routes. The rooms are well furnished and the view is amazing! The only downside is that “Haus Sonnseite” isn’t the quietest spot; a restaurant is in front, a church with regular bell rings is beside it, and the house is next to a fairly busy street.

We appreciated the spacious bedroom and the convenient carport right on the premises, plus the location was spot on. The breakfast room, however, felt a bit cramped and got warm quickly.

Breakfast covered everything we needed, and Frau Mauxel was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. From the hotel we could step straight onto a variety of hiking trails, with the mountains right at the doorstep.
