The spot right on the Rhine is unbeatable, ideal for business travelers planning trips across Germany or the Netherlands, and the breakfast is good with great staff. However, even in 2026 the rooms on the 3rd floor still lack air conditioning, and there are no window screens—about 3000 mosquitoes will make you wish you stayed only in winter, spring, or autumn.

It was one of the best places we’ve stayed at, though it can’t quite match v/d Valk… They do replace towels, but they never bother to make the bed.
