The view from our room was stunning, but that's where the positives ended.

The stay was incredible; we came for our 7th birthday and the staff and breakfast were just amazing—thank you for a beautiful stay. The only issue was the lack of a small fridge to keep our picnic.

The staff were very friendly and we loved hearing the rushing water right outside our room, plus the free cable cars were a great perk. On our last day we even visited and fed the marmots. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find anyone to arrange a pickup from the bus station when we left, and the walk to the station is tough with luggage. Since there’s no air conditioning, it would help to have window or door screens to let in fresh air without bugs, or a lighter blanket for the bed. All in all, the place was nice and well‑located.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate my dairy allergy by buying me special bread, yogurt, and plant‑based milk so I could have dairy‑free breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, and the laundry detergent used on the sheets was unscented, which was a huge plus for me. Everything was spotless, and we enjoyed hearing the creek from our room. Staying at a smaller hotel made the whole experience more relaxing.
