Seeing the sunrise bounce off the sea from the window was wonderful, and I liked that the hybrid Japanese‑Western room let me pick either a bed or futon; the raised tatami area was gentle on my tired legs after sightseeing. Having a convenience store attached to the hotel was handy for anyone who prefers to eat and drink on site, and the short walk from the station helped keep the price low. On the downside, the power outlets were poorly placed, making it a hassle to charge my phone and charger since there was none near the pillow, which I use as an alarm. The surrounding area lacked restaurants, so dining out was difficult, and walking from the station at night was unsettling because the street was very dark, with few lights and a curving road backed by a retaining wall that reduced visibility.
