Best Hotel I had in Sri Lanka! It’s near the most beautiful quiet beach, the family is lovely and the food is delicious. The room is very comfortable and stylish, super clean, and the garden is beautiful. The only downside was a feisty cat :)

Wonderful, clean room. Warm welcome from the whole family. The family was always very helpful, even letting us drop off our clothes for washing. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic 😍. Everything was tiptop!

Wonderful stay at Lala’s that we won’t forget. We booked a suite based on the glowing review and were not disappointed. The place is very welcoming with a very flowered garden and the rooms are very clean. Dulaj (Lala’s son) welcomed us and gave us valuable information about the area and nearby activities (he handled all our transport). Lala is a wonderful woman who cares for travelers, always smiling, always available yet discreet, and an excellent cook. The breakfasts are delicious and very filling, and meals served on request are also great. Lala gave us many tips on Sri Lankan cuisine that we’ll try at home. Alalla beach is beautiful and very close to the house, 2‑3 minutes on foot. Our stay at Lala’s is by far the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka (I didn’t expect to find anything better than the already great previous stays). Our biggest regret is not having booked earlier to stay a bit longer in this little paradise where kindness and goodwill reign. I can only recommend you and especially wish you to stay with this charming little family that we won’t forget! Éric & Laure. Lala and her family are truly wonderful. They fulfilled all our wishes and gave us great tips. We felt incredibly comfortable during our stay. Lala prepared an amazingly delicious breakfast for us. The room was very clean, and we really appreciated the proximity to Hiriketiya / Dickwella as well as the quiet beach in Talalla. I’m sure we will come back again
