“Fantastische jungle ervaring”
The spot is unbeatable: right next to Tikal, Biotopo Cerro Cahui around the corner, and El Remate within walking distance with a few restaurants and more. The staff are friendly and helpful, everything stays clean and gets cleaned often, and the restaurant food is great. There are plenty of transport options, tours, and gear rentals; everything seems well thought out and clearly marked. You sleep right in the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and a lot of birds, and the shower is excellent. Overall a fantastic jungle experience for such a low price! The only downside is insects and nighttime sounds, because the room has no walls—though you can opt for a bungalow instead, which is part of the experience.
